105 Power Cut LIne

105 is the three digit number to call if you have  power cut or need to report an electricity network safety issue.

Launched in September 2016, it's a free service for people in England, Scotland and Wales - and a first for the UK’s energy industry.

The memorable national number will help ensure you get through to us – the company responsible for the network which delivers electricity to your door.

You can call 105 no matter who you choose to buy your electricity from.

105 complements the wide range of services we offer to our customers to contact us and get updates about a power cut, which include our 24-hour Facebook and Twitter  pages and online power cut map.

You can also call 105 if you spot damage to electricity power lines and substations that could put you, or someone else, in danger.  If there is a serious immediate risk, call the emergency services too.

Northern Powergrid worked in partnership with Energy Networks Association and other regional network companies to fund and deliver this important service.  We are also supporting a national campaign to increase customer awareness of 105.
